would i be a good football player in public school?
i play middle school football at a decent size christian school. im in 8th grade. im a runningback and i play jv, and play up some on our varsity team. people say im good but idk if i would be good to play at a public school. im 5' 7" 155 lbs. my middle school stats were 857 yds. and 12 tds in 8 games. idk how many carries. and on our jv team i returned two kickoffs for 30 yards.
too small to take the kind of pounding a running back takes. I say a decent back up RB as a change of pace back. sorry kid
Zack - size does matter in football. Bigger, stronger, faster is the work out method used by most schools, that is why you hit the weight room. small players have to be exceptionally fast or strong to be a good players at the running back position and has a lot to do with how good of an offensive line they run behind. No one here knows his heart dedication to the game or balance. It could be a large public school were he might not make the team at all cause the running back position is full or a small public school like the one i went to were the football team had 18 player on it (9th-12th grade; no jv program)
